As a new mom to my son Shahn (seen on right) I am getting to know a myriad of mommies, and am quickly realizing that we are all feeding our babies organic food in order to lower their exposure to pesticides, hormones and steroids.  (A recent study has shown that the level of pesticides and other chemicals in children’s blood markedly decreases when they begin eating organic foods). 

I also hear from many mommies that they are placing their kids on special gluten and casein-free diets for various reasons. Because of this, Sweet Debbie's now provides gluten and casein-free cupcakes, cookies, brownies and muffins so that no child has to be deprived of having a special treat for their birthday or other celebration.

Here, at Sweet Debbie's, we continue to do research with physicians and hire food scientists to help us provide our customers and their kids with the most satisfying desserts while adhering safely to any dietary restrictions they may have.
